Goodbye 2014.

Wow another year gone. Hard to believe right?
Most people dress up for New Years but I thought I would try and simple look.

I am not doing anything for New Years this year, I normally don't anyways. But for the past few weeks I have had this cold that doesn't seem to wanna go away which is probably why I look like crap in these photos.

What is everyone's plans for New Years?
Happy New Year to everyone! :)

A little Sparkle!

Yes, It's me again! Last week was a bit mixed up but this week is back to normal.

Anyways, Here's a sneak peak at my New Years Eve outfit.
New Years Eve is just a couple of days away so I thought I'd show you my look. It might change by then but as of now, this is it! I tried on a few different things including a dress and a skirt and in the end I went with the more simpler look (as per usual).  Who doesn't love a little sparkle on New Years Eve? I decided on this sparkling crop top with the bow-like look on the back and some leather legging. Also, I'm wearing my favourite boots that I bought years ago and still wear today.

So, What are you guys doing for New Years? Can you believe it's almost 2015? 2014 literally came and went in like a month. Time flies! Anyways, HAPPY NEW YEARS GUYS!!

Having a Merry Christmas!

I almost forgot to blog, Sorry about that. I just remembered.
Anyways I had such an amazing Christmas day. I love spending time with my family and getting to eat all the delicious food.
This was my Christmas look...

Love this Necklace!
I wore this thin, red sweater with lace in the back. I just got it for Christmas and I really like it. I added the necklace which I also just got and I'm in love with it! I tied my hair back, put on some lipstick and WALA, There's my Christmas look. Simple but Christmasy. :D

I spent Christmas Eve at my Dad's the night before with my sisters and we had a Christmas Eve Supper. Then, We went to my moms Christmas Day and had Another Christmas dinner and it was fantastic. I really enjoyed Christmas this year. I love spending it with my Nephew. He was finally loving it. He's two, and he only just started enjoying opening gifts two days before. So, Just in time for Christmas. (His birthday was in September, and he still wasn't into it then.)

Also, Here is a little D.I.Y stocking I had done.. :)
I think the bow is my favourite part.

Man, I have eaten so much, I still feel full! But, I don't regret it. I love food.

Anyways, I hope you guys had a wonderful Christmas. And what did you enjoy most?

Homemade Ugly Christmas Sweater.

Sorry for these terrible photos! I didn't have much time to do anything so this is what I came up with. The last couple days were so busy and I really didn't get a chance to at least take a decent photo.
I am heading to my sister's today for Christmas :) So this is just a quick post.

I made this ugly Christmas Sweater and I am very proud of it! Even though the longer I wore it the more it fell apart LOL! But still I had fun making it :D Everything on it is from the Dollar Store so it was cheap. Also are you loving my snowman necklace? I think he is so cute!

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE! I hope that you have an amazing Christmas with your family and friends! Hope santa is great to you all this year as well hehe ;)
Much love xo.

Fun Christmas Baking!

This is us excited about baking until we actually started to bake. Here we go:

Here is our baking ingredients we used for our "Christmas Log Cake"

Not good. We kinda misread the instructions and added too much salt so it just tasted like well.. salt. It was also very thin and as we started to roll it all just crumbled to pretty much nothing. We would like to say this is surprising but it is us.Which leads us to this face:

We like to call it the "lets pretend we really enjoyed our log cake and didn't mess it up" look.
Side note: We tricked family members into trying this cake saying it was great and well the faces that they made were priceless! We are cruel :)

This next one really didn't require any baking so we redeemed ourselves with this lovely parfait.

This one was VERY good. Way better than that pittyful Christmas log cake.
For this we used red and green fruit for the lovely colors of Christmas! :)

We promised ourself to do more baking so we can improve! Anyone else have any Christmas baking fails?
PS, more Christmas sweaters for ya! Gotta love um!

Christmas D.I.Y or Maybe Not.

We kind of did a Christmas D.I.Y and It maybe, kinda, possibly turned out horrible.
Yes, we failed. But at least we tried.
Here’s the thing, our snowflakes came out beautifully, it’s just that, because they were folded to make them, it leaves them bent when they are finished. We could have waited a day for them to flatten out but aint nobody got time for that. So, We just stuck them to the hanger and decorated it to make it a little more christmasy and WALA! The perfect piece of disaster ever… because it was fun. Anyways, Kenecha’s mom loved it. ;)

It Is The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year!

These photos were took by my sister's Christmas tree! Isn't it beautiful?
My outfit isn't really Christmasy so I put on some reindeer earrings to make it feel a little more like Christmas :)

 Just love her tree!

15 days till Christmas! Everyone's shopping done? :)

Daisy Love!

Hi Guys! It’s been quite a great week for me. It’s also getting a lot colder which means I had to whip out all my coats!

I like the one i’m wearing because it kind of has a vintage vibe to it which is really nice. It’s also really warm which is great for this time of the year. The sleeves are really cool. It looks like i’m wearing a sweater in under my jacket but nope, thats part of the jacket sleeve. I’m really picky about which outfits I like with it, though. You can’t really wear it with anything in my opinion. Some things just do not mix well. I do however love it with my daisy print dress. The floral design continues to add to the vintage look which I love. I love how well it the dress fits as well.
Thank goodness for leggings or I would not be able to wear a dress in this weather. I have so many pairs of faux leather leggings because they’re obviously one of my favourite things to wear. I really liked how they look with this dress. It makes the girly look a little bit edgier which fits my style so much more. Also, boots and cute socks are a must for me this time of year. I love it too much. I thought the yellow beret added a perfect amount of colour for this outfit. I’m quite a happy person so I like to add that to my outfit usually through bright colours.

Also, what may look like a black scarf is actually my cardigan. I have a few like these but this specific one is pretty cool because it is cropped which I thought looked really cool.

Oh, and because of the daisies in my dress I though why not take a picture with Kenecha’s puppy, “Daisy”. How cute is she? Very cute, in my opinion. She's growing so quickly!

I hope you guys have a great week!     — xx - Kelsey

Leather in December!

More like Faux Leather in December. But, it just doesn’t have the same ring to it does it.
We’re both in love with leather jackets. But, who doesn’t love a good leather jacket, Am I right?

My jacket is really old. I wore this one because I love the fur over the shoulders and back. Very soft and cozy, and perfect for colder weather. I’m also wearing my brown leather boots from my november favourites. :D Yay for faux leather. Also, Yay for fake snow! I’m sure you noticed that one.

I went for a lighter shade of brown with my leather jacket. It’s my favourite one, I just love the colour. My leggings also contain a bit of leather which is really cool. Fun fact about the fake snow. The effect Kelsey put on hers did not work for mine so we painted it on! lol. True story.

Floral Boots.

I wanna first start off with the fact that I am loving that it is December! We are so close to Christmas now & I love it! We put our Christmas lights up yesterday, next step is the tree and decorations :D

These photos were taking a few weeks back, it isn't that nice out now haha. Actually it was pretty cold in these photos so my hands were a little chilly.

I love this place, such a gorgeous spot.

Purple scarf.

DECEMBER 1ST!! Uhm, WHAT?! We are a month away from a whole new year, a.k.a 2015. We are even closer to Christmas! YaY! I’m still a kid when it comes to Christmas. It’s just all too exciting for me.

This day was all about the purple scarf. It might not look that purple in the picture but trust me, it looks more so in person. As I said in the previous post, I have never been a scarf-wearing kind of girl and that I’ve recently been liking them a lot. I was looking through my collection of scarves that I buy but never wear and saw this purple one and was like, “Wow, this is beautiful, Why haven’t I ever worn it.” So, I decided that I must wear it. I have no idea where I got it but i’m glad I have it. The colour is just fantastic and It really stands out. I know that i’ll definitely be wearing this one more often.
Also, I have a lot of favourite boots but the ones I am wearing are my favoritest favourite! :D Had them for two years and
still love them.

Hope you guys had a lovely weekend.                                                                                              - Kelsey
