A Day in My Life!

Hello everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend. Yesterday was the celebration of my towns birthday. Well, more like the past few days. I wanted to wear something comfortable but nice so I wore these black leggings which I love so much. They're comfortable and fit amazingly well! Leggings are the best way to go when you want to be comfortable. But, what I love about these are the zippers on the sides which give the black leggings style so you look a little bit dressed up without really dressing up. I styled it with a red and grey striped long sleeve shirt because the weather hasn't been so great lately. We've had a storm the other day which brought a lot of wind and a lot of rain. And, we're expecting a bit of cold frosty weather to pass through for a few days, but hopefully after that, our summer gets back on track! 

My sister and I were craving cheeseburgers so we order takeout and it tasted so good! It's literally not that often that I buy them but I get so excited when I do. 

I went out with a friend for supper at our favourite little coffee shop in our town. The food there is pretty great. I decided to get something different from what I usually order so I got beef soup (I haven't eat soup in 2 years or more) and I decided to try a chicken & mozzarella panini sandwich. The soup tasted amazing but I wasn't too excited about the sandwich. It wasn't really for me. It tasted a little bit like mozzarella sticks with all the cheese which i'm not a fan of, but my friend (who had the same thing) loved it. I pretty much just ate the chicken out of it. 

After we ate we went and bought icebergs for dessert and you guys know how much I love my icebergs. We bought a cherry iceberg! Yes, the first flavour I ever tried, I finally went back to that one and it was quite amazing! It tasted exactly how they used to as well. Don't they look so good? If you haven't tried them before, you defiantly should. 

While we were just chilling, eating our icebergs we noticed maybe two whales out in the water. I wish I had brought my camera to take some pictures but all I had was my iPhone so a blurry zoomed in picture is all I have to show which is not very clear. If you see that splash on the left side of the water, that's a whale blowing through his blowhole. 

My nephew was at my house when I got home and I brought him home a chocolate egg which he loves so much and a little toy candy. To be honest, the toy was so fun that I wanted to buy it for myself, and when I knew Julian would be there when I got home I thought it was the perfect opportunity to buy it without feeling silly. He actually loved it and kept playing with it. :) The picture is a bit blurry because he was a bit excited saying "cheese". 

And, to end off the night there was a fireworks display to celebrate our towns birthday. I seriously love fireworks. I look forward to them every year. I'm lucky enough that every year, the fireworks are always held so close to my house that this is literally the view from my balcony. The whole street in front of my house is always lined up with cars with people coming to get a good view of the fireworks.
