Halloween D.I.Y!

Hey guys! Halloween is just around the corner so we decided to do a little Halloween D.I.Y. We saw this idea of using a canvas and buttons to create a little halloween picture. Of course, you don't have to use buttons, you could use whatever you felt like, really. We changed ours up a bit and added extra detail with the little bat and moon and we thought the fall leaves added a nice autumn touch. We picked all of these items up at the dollar store so this d.i.y is very inexpensive. 

Of course we hand painted the chevron background ourselves and it does take some time but there are easier ways to do this by using tape or stencils. Or you could be creative and create your own unique background. It's also cute if add little banners with "happy halloween" which we didn't do because we chose to make a bat and moon instead. (Taking the easy way out because that's how we like to do it. lol) 

We love that this was pretty easy to make but it makes such a cute home decor piece for Halloween. It was also pretty fun to make besides burning a few fingers of course. (Little tip: Be careful while using a hot glue gun.)
