Fun Weekend!

Hello everybody! How's everybody been? I hope you all had a great weekend! Mine was wonderful which is why I decided to post my weekend in pictures..

Friday was such a gorgeous day! There was something about it that was just perfect, like happiness in the air. It was a chill day for the most part and My sister and I wore our maxi dresses! She wanted to try Pokemon Go on my other sisters phone so she made me walk around outside with her so she could catch some pokemon, which she did. After a bit we went home and my other sister was happy that she got some new pokemon. Lol! My nephew was also there riding around the house on his little bike. Eventually I went out again with Kenecha and we went for ice-cream (Icebergs to be exact! You know how much we love them) and it was quite refreshing after a long hot day. We were thinking about them all day and finally got them. During our walk we ended up on a little board walk we really light and sat there while we continued to eat our ice-cream. We literally sat there until dark!  We had such a good chat about things and eventually we realized how late it was and went home.

My Grandparents celebrated their 50th anniversary on Saturday so the whole family went to their house and had a potluck. In the photo are my grandparents and my cousins (minus a few) from this side of my family and also my sisters! We weren't the only kids there though. Everyone's other halves were there and also my nephew and other little cousin who had run off to play somewhere. Not to mention, all my aunts and uncles and some of my grandparents friends! The house was full! I spent most of my time out on the balcony where it wasn't as hot and enjoyed some delicious food. There was literally so much food that I didn't even try it all.

On Sunday we had another beautiful day! Not as hot as the day before (thank goodness!). It was hot one minute and chilly the next, the weather could not make up it's mind and it made it quite difficult to choose an outfit. It was calling for a thunderstorm all day and around supper time Kenecha called me up telling me how she really wanted subway. She kept wondering if she should go or not because it looked like it was about to rain! Also, she's terrified of thunderstorms. I ended up going to subway with her and after we ate we went up to the cape in our town and went for a walk along the beautiful trail by the water and climbed some rocks that we'd seen. Then we went to the ice-cream/restaurant that was next to the start of the trail when we walked back and I got a sundae which helped cool me down.

The end of the day ended with some fireworks to celebrate our towns birthday! Some of my little cousins from away were at my house to watch them as well as my uncle and aunt and other grandparents! As well as my dad and sisters of course! My nephew loves fireworks and he was really excited about them. My little cousin wanted my to play with her and her cousin who was with her so I was literally spinning in circles and running around like a kid getting dizzy before the fireworks had started. 

Overall it was a fun weekend which I really quite enjoyed! What did you guys do over your weekend?
