Gingerbread Village!

Monday, 14 December 2015

Do you wanna know something that will keep you busy for an hour, or three? I'll tell ya. Building a gingerbread house...scratch that, building a gingerbread village. It's quite time consuming. This weekend I decided to build a gingerbread house because honestly, in my whole life I have never done so before. Of course, I would go straight for the little village kit. I did enjoy it though and I am impressed with the results besides a few things that look not so great. I think my favourite was designing the roof of each house. I tried to make them all different from each other.

What do you guys think of my little gingerbread village? Any of you make one before? How was the results?
:)

  69. You did lovely! I remember the first time I did a gingerbread house, and after I glued the pieces together with icing the instructions said to let it sit for four hours lol. I thought it was going to take around 30 minutes to build/decorate, but no. Five hours later I was still gluing peppermints to that house, haha.
