Do you wanna know something that will keep you busy for an hour, or three? I'll tell ya. Building a gingerbread house...scratch that, building a gingerbread village. It's quite time consuming. This weekend I decided to build a gingerbread house because honestly, in my whole life I have never done so before. Of course, I would go straight for the little village kit. I did enjoy it though and I am impressed with the results besides a few things that look not so great. I think my favourite was designing the roof of each house. I tried to make them all different from each other.
What do you guys think of my little gingerbread village? Any of you make one before? How was the results?
:)

Ahh, I love ginger bread houses though I've only ever tried one once. Building them has got to be the best yet most frustrating part, haha

Super cute! It looks like you're good with cake design ahah! I tried to make a gingerbread house once, and it was totally a failure.. maybe I should try again now that I did some practise with sac-a-poche and icing.

You did lovely! I remember the first time I did a gingerbread house, and after I glued the pieces together with icing the instructions said to let it sit for four hours lol. I thought it was going to take around 30 minutes to build/decorate, but no. Five hours later I was still gluing peppermints to that house, haha.
