Fun Summer Look!

The past week has been insanely gorgeous! It was a week filled with family and puppies, friends and BBQ's, beautiful sunsets and an infinite amount of sunshine. I definitely was not complaining. The weather definitely called for shorts. 

This particular day wasn't too hot. It was just right. The sun was out but the cold wind was also around so while there were people wearing shorts, I didn't trust myself not to get cold so I thought knee socks would be the perfect pick. I wanted to do a fun summer look so I closed my eyes and started creating the look in my mind. I thought, green and yellow eyeshadow for summer, white top and denim shorts, yellow belt, knee socks, braided updo... and I liked it so I went to my wardrobe and made sure I had everything, made sure I had yellow and green eyeshadow and walaa! It came out exactly as I pictured! I'm definitely not one for wearing bright eyeshadow but every once in a while is fun to just go for it and do something fun and different. As for knee socks or in this case "over-the-knee" socks, I know not everyone is a fan but I like them because they make me feel comfortable and more confident as I don't really like showing my legs unless I have to. If you are like me and usually like to keep things simple I dare you all to go and try something different this week! Whether it's your outfit or your makeup or simply something in life, Just have fun!
