Stripes and braids!

Hey guys! This past week has been pretty busy for me but I've finally gotten time to relax! Also, I've been feeling really great the past few days. I feel quite motivated and inspired and I really missed that feeling. It's great to just feel excited about things. 

Oh, man! I've been eating so much junk food lately which is not good. The amount of sugar I consumed is ridiculous! My mother was home to visit and she kept buying me ice-cream and chocolate and I just couldn't say no...I'm too weak D: !! I've been eating it everyday for the past week or so. She's gone again now so I think i'll be okay. 

I kind of took these photos last minute, so they aren't the best, and it doesn't really show my whole outfit but I thought i'd share them anyway. I'm wearing this shirt from New Chic that I got a while ago. I almost forgot that I had it but I was going through my closet trying to find something to wear and I tried it and thought, "Wow, why don't I ever wear this?". This blouse is so lovely. I think the bow is really cute. Also, I am obsessed with the sleeves, the way they fit, and how it flows. It's probably my favourite part of this top! It's really comfortable as well. The material isn't thick nor is it really thin which means I should be able to get away with wearing it all year round! Which I'm sure I will now that I love it so much. The weather wasn't that great so I wore a pair of red skinny jeans, I love how the blouse looks with the colour red! These pants are so old but still going strong! What do you guys think of this look? I wore some nice black boots too but I didn't even think to show them, sigh.
